Are you interested in enrolling your child? SACFS offers free comprehensive early childhood education services to economically disadvantaged three- to five-year olds and social services to their families.

Call us to set-up an appointment with one of our social services staff or come to one of our centers. We will provide you with detailed information about the program and give you a tour of the facilities. The SACFS office is opened from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Who is eligible?

In order to qualify for the three- and four-year old classrooms, children must meet Federal Head Start eligibility requirements for age and income requirements. Children must be three-years old by December 31 of the current school year.

Although our priority is to families who are at or below the federally mandated poverty guidelines, we do accept over income families if no other families meeting the income requirements have been identified. Working families and parents/caregivers who are enrolled in school are given preference for the full-day and extended-day programs.

Special Needs: Support services for preschool children with disabilities are integrated into the program and provided in accordance to the needs specified in a child's Individualized Education Program.
